WHY IS JUICE CLEANSE BENEFICIAL?
Do you want to restore balance in your body, support your immune system, and improve digestion? Do you long for radiant skin, healthy hair and nails, mental clarity, a fit figure and ideal weight, more energy, stronger vitality, sparkling eyes, a feeling of lightness in your body, and overall well-being? If your answer is yes, we have prepared raw juices for you, called My Barbarella Juices.
HOW OUR JUICES ARE MADE
Our juices are freshly prepared with love from fruits and vegetables. They are nutrient-dense yet low in calories, providing you with a wealth of micronutrients: vitamins, minerals, and other bioactive plant compounds with anti-inflammatory effects that support your body’s natural functions.
TYPES OF FASTING
There are different types of fasting. You can fast on water alone or with the help of fruit and vegetable juices. Water-only fasting often leaves people feeling tired and low in energy. During fasting, it is beneficial to engage in light physical activity, as this stimulates lymph flow and supports detoxification. That is why juice fasting is easier – you feel better, more energized, and at the same time, your body’s natural detoxification and self-healing processes are enhanced.
On our menu, you’ll find nourishing vegan dishes as well as gluten-free options. Since every drink and meal is made with love, a cold-pressed juice, nourishing smoothie, kamut sandwich, fragrant soup, salad or rice bowl, and a sweet treat will both satisfy you and fill you with positive energy.
WHAT JUICES CAN YOU FIND WITH US
Each morning during your cleanse, treat yourself to an enzyme-rich liquid breakfast, followed by a light and energizing lunch that won’t cause bloating or fatigue but will fill your cells with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and phytonutrients. In the evening, enjoy a light yet nourishing dinner juice. Because the ingredients are cold-pressed, your body absorbs nutrients more quickly and easily, without the need for heavy digestion.
We offer two starter packages: one with 5 juices made from seasonal fruits and vegetables, and another with 4 concentrated shots. Drink each juice slowly, sip by sip, allowing your body to gradually absorb all the valuable nutrients.
PLAN
Listen to your body and set up a plan according to your goals. If you are serious about making changes, create a one-week or one-month plan, adjusting your diet and lifestyle accordingly, and make sure to include physical activity. In the beginning, opt for gentle movement such as stretching, yoga, or walks. Once you’re more experienced, you can return to your usual exercise routine.
Our juices are cold-pressed to preserve all their nutrients. Since you’ll receive a larger batch of juices at once, make sure you have enough space in your fridge.
BEFORE YOU START
At least three days before your juice cleanse, remove all sugar and white flour from your diet. Add plenty of fresh vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and healthy fats (extra virgin olive oil, hemp oil, coconut oil, flaxseed oil). Choose millet and buckwheat porridge, and avoid processed foods. Drink lots of water—at least 2.5 to 3 liters per day. We also strongly recommend a cleanse of the intestines (such as an enema), so that toxins are not reabsorbed into the body.
If you only want an occasional healthy, cleansing meal, you can also simply replace one of your regular meals with a fresh juice.
HOW TO FINISH A CLEANSE
When finishing a juice cleanse, reintroduce solid foods slowly. On the first day, stick to fresh salads and juices. On the second day, add cooked vegetables while keeping salads. On the third day, introduce gluten-free grains. If you eat meat and dairy, start adding them gradually from day four. Always observe how your body reacts. Industrially processed foods and refined sugar should stay off your menu altogether.
Regular detoxing (at least two to three times per year) contributes to long-term well-being and helps prevent toxin build-up, strengthening the immune system.
WHAT YOU MAY FEEL DURING A CLEANSE
Congratulations if at the beginning you feel discomfort such as headaches, nausea, irritability, or fatigue—that means the detox has started! Other temporary discomforts may also appear, but don’t worry, it’s all part of the process. Listen to your body, and if you truly lack energy, have a handful of nuts or a light salad. To help your body flush out toxins, make sure to drink plenty of fluids: unsweetened herbal teas, lemon water with a pinch of salt (a natural isotonic drink to restore electrolytes), or simply water. The recommended daily intake is 2–2.5 liters for women and 2.5–3 liters for men.
If you have medical conditions or take prescribed medication, consult your doctor before starting.
